Whitetail Deer Hunting Rates, Dates & Terms

Whitetail Deer Hunt Dates:

Bow Hunts - September to November

Rifle and Muzzleloader Hunts - November

Whitetail Deer Hunt Costs:

7 Day Whitetail Deer Hunts - $4,000 USD

Extra Days - $300 USD / Day

Hunt Prices Include:

Pick up and return from Edmonton International Airport or hotel.

Generally hunters fly into Edmonton on the Saturday prior to their hunt. One night is spent in a hotel and then you are picked up on Sunday and transported to Athabasca.
The following week , you will be returned to Edmonton, either directly to the airport or to a hotel.

Transportation during the hunt

Field dressing, skinning, and caping of trophy

Not included in the hunt:

Booking Terms:

$500 required at time of booking. (personal cheques accepted).
$1,500 by June 1st of Hunt Year
Balance Owing is due 30 days prior to the hunt.
All prices are in US Funds.
All deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another hunter up to 30 days prior to the hunt start date.

Additional Information:

All hunts are conducted according to the Code of Ethics of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society.
All hunters agree to follow hunting regulations and laws set out by the Province of Alberta.
All medical conditions should be discussed with the outfitter prior to booking.

Accommodations: Clean, comfortable accommodations and home cooked meals will be provided for the duration of your hunt.

Rifle and ammunition
Rain gear
Day Pack
Binoculars and/or spotting scope
Camera and film
Personal toiletries
Runners or leather boots
Felt lined rubber boots
Spare liners for boots

Winter hat and 2 pairs of gloves
Wool or fleece hunting pants
Brown or snow camouflage coveralls or bibs/pants and parka
Thermal long underwear
Wool socks
Hand Warmers
Cell Phone (if desired)
Medium weight long sleeve shirts

Keeping warm is essential to a successful and enjoyable hunt. It is recommended that you dress in a number of layers and are prepared for both warm and cold temperatures.

Dressing in red or orange is not required in Alberta.
